Description

Oh yes, they are coming back!

Around here, we love our country... country music that is. We’re lucky to see a great variety of artists, but rarely do we get to experience talent with musical pedigree of this caliber. Lisa Brokop, joined by Paul Jefferson, brings just that.

In 2016, Lisa Brokop launched a new musical venture, Lisa Brokop: The Patsy Cline Project, in which she pays homage to one of country music’s greatest legends. This heartfelt tribute features some of Patsy Cline’s most iconic songs, including “Sweet Dreams,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and “Crazy,” alongside original songs Lisa wrote specifically for the project and a few seasonal tunes.

And that’s not all—you also get Paul Jefferson, a major country artist and gifted songwriter (Aaron Tippin, Keith Urban), delivering an incredibly accurate and moving portrayal of his hero, Hank Williams Sr. You’ll swear Hank himself is back on stage.

Lisa began her musical journey as a young girl in Surrey, BC. With over 30 years in the business, she’s released nine albums and achieved more than 30 Top 20 radio hits. At 19, she landed the lead female role in the feature film Harmony Cats and was soon signed to Capitol Records. Her hit albums Every Little Girl’s Dream and the self-titled Lisa Brokop include fan favorites like “Give Me a Ring Sometime,” “Take That,” “Before He Kissed Me,” and “She Can’t Save Him.” In 1995, she earned a nomination for Top New Female Vocalist from the Academy of Country Music and has received multiple accolades from the Canadian Country Music Awards. As a songwriter, she’s written for Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, and Pam Tillis. This is a must-see for Patsy Cline fans everywhere!

Paul Jefferson is a singer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist who has called Nashville, Tennessee home for over three decades. He portrayed Hank Williams in the San Jose production of Lost Highway, and now, his latest musical venture, Hank Lives, returns to his country roots. The show celebrates the timeless classics of Hank Williams Sr., interwoven with personal stories that bring to life the man behind the music.
